    ITS SO TRUE!

The first time I took mine to work, a car full of P plater bogans leaned out and said nice volvo. To which I said its a VW and they replied:

"Mate I think I know a volvo when I see one"

VW = Volvo Works, factory team maybe ? The MK2 does actually resemble that god awful Volvo from the 80's that was shared with Rover, a total bomb of a car, cant recal the model off the top of my head

I'm impressed a bogun knew what a Volvo is; fully sick mate......

In my case, I was cbf'd to write volkswagen. But yes most impressive that they knew what a volvo is seeing as Canberra is over run by WRX's & Lancer's or Skyline's (add masses of bitterness to my voice)

Also my friend says my car reminds him of the old mitsubishi colt.

You know you drive a Mk2 (with a high lift cam) when someone asks is it suppose to sound like that.

You know you drive a Mk2 when you start it on a cold morning and have to wait for it to warm up.

You know you drive a Mk2 thats been lowered when the guy behind you honks their horn because you taking to long to get into a carpark with a gutter

You know you drive a Mk2 when you have to do a 3 point turn with no power steering in a tiny street with savage high gutters.

You know you drive a MK2 with no powersteering when you try turning the steering wheel on a hilly street.

You know you drive a MK2 when you have a second reverse light set up inside your car, just incase you don't find first
