    You know you drive a MK2 when you watch helplessly as the drivers side windscreen wiper sails up the screen and over the top in a rain storm @90kph!!!!!!!

    hahahaha, i have to train my self not to race everybody off the line, as i know i will loose. if anyone asks if its fast i tell them "the mk2 gti was known for its handling"

    You know you drive a MK2 when, you spend days looking for a problem and prepare to spend big money to fix it, only to realize a plug (Throttle Position Sensor) was loose...

    You know you drive a Mk2 when you open the door after a rainy day and can tell how many ml's we've had that day by how much water is on the floor.
    You know you drive a leaky Mk2 when you have to drive in the rain with the window down to stop it fogging up inside.
    You know you drive a Mk2 when people look confused but still give you a compliment on it.
