I've recently bought a '92 Mk2 GTI 8v and would like to do a service on it. I just wanted to see what engine oil and manual transmission fluid others are using.

I've done some looking and so far I'm leaning toward using Nulon Full Synthetic 10W-40 Hi-Tech Fast Flowing, and Nulon Full Synthetic 75W-85 Smooth Shift Manual Gearbox and Transaxle Oil (GL-4).
