    Mk2 gti ignition issue

    Howdy all,
I’m having some dramas starting my mk2 gti 8v. I’m not getting a spark, I’ve recently replaced the distributor, ignition coil and also the ignition module and still no joy...any tips??
    Cheers,

    Rob.

Yeah I have power to the coil. Just realised I can’t hear the fuel pump when accessories are on so a blown pump be an option?

Check fuses first and that power is getting to the fuse. The fuse cover shows which fuse looks after the pump.

Thanks mate, problem solved, turned out to be a blown relay for the fuel pump.
