Bought a MK2 GTI

It's the other way around - head from the MK2 GTI on a 2.0 block. You don't get a big power increase but the extra torque is noticeable and turns the (lazy Aussie spec) MK2 into a proper (by 1990 standards) GTI. Add the euro spec exhaust from a 2.0 MK3 and you get a few more hp.

By using the MK2 head you don't have to change any of the fuel injection parts so a very easy and cheap upgrade.

239mm is too small for modern traffic. I've still got the MK3 hubs, calipers and 256mm rotors if you're interested.

well if u gonna be selling it pieces if it has a late model drivers door, passanger mirror and roof lining (sunroof model) im keen...there is probably gonna be more things that ill need but need to start somewhere....cant wait till it gets here... hoping i can pick mine up on Friday, but i feel it might be monday or Tuesday....

Dash is crap and roof lining is non sunroof model. Drivers door on my white one is in good condition.

lol......awesome....i mean not wife killing you but you having another mk2.....plus your motor and gearbox are gonna come in handy now....
