Volkswagen Group recalls more DSG vehicles

Volkswagen Group recalls more DSG vehicles
DSG gearbox-equipped Volkswagen, Audi and Skoda models recalled after hydraulic issue diagnosed
Volkswagen Group Australia has announced a nation-wide recall today, set to affect more than 60,000 Volkswagen, Audi and Skoda vehicles.

According to Volkswagen Group Australia (VGA), the recall is in relation to faulty “pressure accumulator housing” used inside the DSG twin-clutch gearbox of Volkswagens, Audis and Skodas built between 2009-15.

VGA says the component in question has been found to have been manufactured incorrectly and could result in a loss of oil and pressure in the hydraulic system of the gearbox, followed by an interruption of power.

The vehicle would then go into ‘limp’ mode and not re-start after the ignition is switched off, unless attended to by a qualified VW technician.

I posted this in the MK6 thread but I'll post here too.

I think this just happened to me.

2012 Golf Comfortline. I was driving along at 60 or so when i noticed i was slowing down relative to other traffic. Tried to accelerate more and nothing.... I saw a flashing D indication on my dash and managed to pull over despite heavy traffic. Changing gears just resulted in the P or R flashing also on the dash and a spanner symbol alternating also. Tried turning off and on again, no change. I had zero power at all, it didn't even rev just sat at idol.

Towed it to my local mechanic and they found oil leaking from around the right place but have not disassembled anything yet.

My car is not specifically included in this recall so i really don't know what to do. I called the local VW dealer and also the VW recall number and they say to take it to them for inspection. What are my chances of being covered?
