If anyone but him had been in the car they would have been killed... this is why "if" you are going to do silly things on a public road, do it by yourself.
* note the seconds photo, the wheel in the wheel arch, except its the wheel from the other side of the car flipped around, ended up in exactly the right spot :O

So i'm guessing it wasn't a GTI if it only had 170hp (can't always believe what's said in the news though).
as i know the story of the R34 is that the owner had to go somewhere by plane and left the car with his son (he told him not to drive it), so he did. He also had a pregnant lady in the car (married?) and they crashed and both died... :newangel:
