    VWWC January Competition

This months prize is being supplied courtesy of Camden GTI.

What every good mechanic needs is a set of coveralls to stop that grease and dirt getting all over your clothes. What you wear underneath is entirely up to you

It's a size 52, not that you can make it out too well in the photo:

And what do you have to do to win it I hear you ask?

Simply tell us the most interesting (or wacky) present you received in 2010. Feel free to share the background, the pictures, weblinks or anything else you might have to show off your item.

Entries need to be in by midnight 28th of January.

Best (and most thoughtful) gift I received was from the VR6PitCrew and is as follows:

Diesel cologne (my old Jetta was a diesel).

A small sample of real diesel fuel.. To bring back the memories of filling the old car up! (Anyone who's ever used the diesel pump understands just how greasy they are.)

For christmas in 2010 my brother got me the following...

    1. A hooters calendar which featured the same girl that was our croupier when we stayed at Hooters hotel and casino in Vegas
    2. Dill pickle band-aids (they look like dill pickles)
    3. Bacon flavoured jellybeans
    4. Nacho flavoured mints

Also for my 2010 birthday he got me some pug socks (as I have two pugs) and I wear them weekly.

Not too sure why he buys me the things he does, but he loves giving me strange things.

    Cheers,

    Pete

I received a hamper pack with jams and bread that was 2 years past it's "use by" date for Christmas last year.
    Still haven't used it

Got my girlfriend a box of worms this year to fill up her worm farm.

I got a tour through the BMW factory at Spartenburg, South Carolina, where they make the X3, X5, and X6, as well as the M series versions of these vehicles for the world wide market. Then as part of this package we got to thrash some high end BMW's around the dirt and road test tracks... These cars included X5, Z4, 720i, 520i, and X5M... And to top it all off we got a hot lap in an M5... It was an awesome day...
I aldo got Lego, and a Wolfsburg emblemed t shirt!!

My little brother works at a toy shop, so he bought me a Lego <67 Beetle for my 21st birthday in August.
Everyone's probably seen the pics but here is it in all it's pixelated glory.

Trying to find a decent floating shelf to put it up on the wall.

3, A Mango splitter, i'm not that keen on Mangoes!

4, Some 'retro' lights! These i quite like actually!

5, Some boxer shorts that i'm too embarrassed to post pics of, they're terrible!
