Protecting painted wheels?
Hey all,
I've finally got round to fitting my freshly powder-coated white BBS RS771 (or RXII - whatever you wanna call them!) and I've noticed even after about 150kms of town driving there are already *tiny* stone chips on the rear wheels (mainly drivers side). I know it's pretty much unpreventable but is there anything I can put on my wheels to stop this happening - because in a week or two they're gonna look like crap, it's pretty annoying!
I've heard of a product called 'wheel guard' but can't find an Australian distributor for it - it looks like it does what I'm after. Other than that will a Wheel Protectant stand up to stone chips or am I gonna have to just leave it and buy some touch up paint for when they get even worse
