    Powdercoating

    Hi was just wondering if anyone had any idea as to how much it would cost to get 4 wheels sand blasted and powder coated roughly? and any suggestions for places in sydney? thanks in advance

    I used a shop called Magman in Punchbowl for my wheels, he did a great job. Cost about $70-80 a wheel?

    eastern wheel works, Fireside.
    Cookie28 it can depend on size, type (single or 3 piece etc) as they might have to be split if multipiece, and also what the finish was previously, apparently some wheels are a real pain to strip...

    About 2 days i think? Cant remember as it was a while ago now.

    Instead of sandblasting, you might want to consider getting the wheels soda blasted. Far less abrasive, better results, plus all you need to do to the wheels after the blasting is to hose them - the soda leaves them spotless enough that even the fussiest powder coater won't complain.

    I got these guys to do my wheels before I had them powder coated.
