    H&R Sports Springs

Finally received my H&R Sport Springs!
Now I'm not sure if they would fit due to clearance. 5X112 19X8.5 et45

Springs lower approx 35mm on the front, 33mm back.

Do you think i will have any issues??

Shouldn't have any issues with the fender lining, i don't think the springs are any wider than the standard springs.

Thanks team_v, thats what I'm afraid of.
Rims are Omanyt Reps, same as you had previously had.

Maybe some spacers to push the rims more out??

I would see if you can measure the current springs and the new ones and see if there is any point where it sticks out more.

The springs won't put the wheel up into the arch so the only worry is if they will scrub on something by being a bit lower.
Best bet is to get under the car and have a look with a measuring tape etc.

Otherwise take it to your local suspension shop and see if they can get itfitted and see if it hits.

Also check out vortex as there is a lot of fourm members who have lowered Tiguans.

I would definitly not go the spacer route.

Hi please post up pictures when you're all done. I have 15mm spacers all round on 19x8.5 et28 reps, and I plan on lowering the car in the summer using Eibach sport springs.

I must say the H&R spring setup is fantastic, progressive rate works wonders to the comfort of the ride yet provide good corner stability.

Recent trip down from Brissy to Sydney is surprisingly comfortable even with the 19" compare to last time with the stock springs and 16" donut tyres.

    I highly recommend them.

The 19's and lowering sets the car off nicely.

Where did you source your H&R springs from? Given it's taken so long I'm guessing you got them brought in sea freight.

I'm in 2 minds whether to go with Eibach or H&R... not sure it really matters in the end.
