Audi TT Comps - how much are they worth?

I've seen a really nice set of refurbed and dipped (gun metal grey) genuine TT Comps that haven't been fitted since they were refurbed. They're in the UK and I'm trying to work out whether it'd be worth importing them as they're already pretty cheap!

What do you think they'd be worth over here in mint condition - did these wheels ever make it over to Australia?

Love these wheels. Also know as fat 5's.

I've only seen 2 sets, both on the TT, I think they may have been an option, but not sure. Definately rare and will hold value.

They will be heavy (around 25 pounds each), but pretty unique and fill the arch of a lowered Polo nicely (as did my TT's).

Expect the freight to be quite pricey, something like $300 to ship?

They are quite cheap (so far, with 2 and a half days remaining) and they do look good in the grey. If you could arrange shipping from the sellers end over here and keep the purchase price under $750 you'd be doing ok I reckon. They really are a great looking set of wheels on a Polo.

I was gonna upload a pic but I'm *meant* to be working haha - here's the link - Audi Competition Alloy Wheels (TT Comps) | eBay

My advantage is I'm in the UK in 3 weeks, have friends in Durham who will collect them for me and I'm flying with Emirates, bringing no luggage back so I'll be 8KG over my hold limit...might have to cross my fingers they don't pick up on it

Oh and Bflat - sorry I never got back to you over the seat sport intercooler, best price was looking at $1000 and I just assumed no one would be interested with it being that steep. I had originally seen a used one at around $700 which is why I was originally tempted!

Pretty average buying them obviously cheap (especially seeing as we have seen the buy price) and then onselling straight away for profit.

They are worth what someone is willing to pay, and you ate banking on someone wanting to fit them to their car.

Well I'd put them on my polo first if I'd dare drive anywhere without damaging them. Surely there'd be easier ways to make a profit than drag 4 heavy used wheels half way across the world and potentially paying $100's to my airline in additional weight :/ I was thinking of doing it because 1. they're gorgeous. 2. they're rare as (over here) and it would've been good for someone to bring a set over for future owners and then finally because at the moment they're a good price.
