The rally golf gets first paint coat

Finally after stripping all the race gear back out, repairing the tree damage (story to tell later) I have welded on the new chassis rails and radiator support and put the first coat of paint on the poor neglected volksee. Next to prep for the grand prix white then the midnight black. God i look forward to having an engine back in the car and giving it a run on the open back roads

nice porsche mate! I wouldn't mind getting ny car to Brabagallo. I heard there were open days when you dont need a CAMS license to get your car there. Do you know when?

    Waneroo track days

I believe they have tuner days for members of the wa sporting car club in which you may not have to have a cams licence but that costs $200 odd bucks to join and every man and his dog is out on the track so you only get a little bit of track time but heaps and heaps of cars on the road so i don't htink it would be a good experience. A level 2 speed licence with cams however only costs $80 so i would go down that road if i were you and the AHG centre has heaps of track days on a good circuit which would suit the golf more than barbagallo

    Rally gear

Yeah mate I removed the cage before i resprayed the interior since the cage is white and the car orange i thought i might not get paint all over it. Only takes about 2 hours put it back in tack it down then weld the base mounts back in properly. For those who have sprayed a car inside with a cage in there you will know how difficult it is to climb through with all the bars. So glad i stripped it out before i painted it
