    thanks for that.
    unfortunally its just a GTI 8v, but a special limited edition comes with G60 spec. (wings and arches), heated leather seats, and much more.

    It finally arrived in Australia

    after 6 Week travel time and 4 weeks quarantine and customs.

    here are pics when i loaded it in germany



    arrived without any damage. I am so happy it is here now.
    Will start next month with the right hand drive conversion.

    So it came through customs without issues?

    There was lots of talk about anything modified being rejected out of hand (mind you there are stories saying things just come through without issues either!).

    Nice looking rides! Is the conversion complex/expensive?

    there´ve been no problems at customs, cause i own the car since 10 years and its very clean anyway.
    I doing the conversion my self, like everything else on that car, thats my job
