I think I might have driven past you last night, around 8pm ish along the Newcastle Foreshore? It was a dark coloured Gallardo anyway. Funnily enough only about 15 mins prior I was driving next to a black Urus.

I was trying to stay with VAG but held out for over 2 months and just couldn't find anything. I had a manual transmission Mk5 R32 lined up but he sold it before I had sold my GTI - so I missed out on that one. Then I was looking at Mk5 GTI's, Mk6 GTI's, Mk6 35th Editions, Audi A3's, Audi S3's etc but there are very few manuals, and very few in NSW, and even less of them in good condition. So I started considering other brands and ultimately bought the little ST on the weekend.

The STs are fun little cars. Enjoy.

Pity I was held up with my current project, 2017 Polo GTI in a manual is almost ready, would have been a nice alternative. Haven't yet decided what to do with it LOL Have an IS20 ready to go on should it stay in the family ....

Yes the little ST is a fun car. Its the Ford Performance Blue colour with grey rims too so its a great colour combo (my favourite colour is blue so I am biased). Its quite basic compared to the Golf, but honestly it's all I need to get around in for now. I was also looking at Polo's (the later 6C with 1.8T and manual) but all the ones near me were white and it was too much the same as my Golf - so I passed. There was a blue one that I liked but it was on the Gold Coast and I couldn't be bothered to fly up there, plus then id have to blue slip it and register it for NSW which is another $1k straight away.

Your Polo GTI might have been a worthwhile option
