    Foxpuppets Passat Alltrack B7

Had gathered a fair amount of brake dust on the front wheels (in only 520km) probably made more noticeable by the recent rain. So today was my first wash and vac.

Came up a treat, I got the wheels a lot cleaner (inside of rims) than dealer detailer had bothered with.

Now I just need to sort out a good wax product. I was using Car Care Products spray wax but it's run out and not sure if there's anything better.

Can anyone recommend a good cleaner for the chrome window trims and roof rails?

B7s are notorious for brake dust, due to a change in supplier of the brakes package. From ATE to Lucas.

    B6s were bad enough already.

I'm not sure if ATE does a Ceramic pad for these, but worth looking into down the track.

Thanks for the heads up. I never had much issue with brake dust on my T5.2 but I have just had the brakes replaced. Mind you black wheels hide a multitude of sins.

I have noticed that it's quite difficult to pull up to a stop without a heavy jerk at the end of the braking. I'm working on it but it's not a smooth to pull up as my transporter. I wonder if the brakes need a look at.

I'm very impressed by the boot space, but there's not enough space for a 9'4 Log in there so time for some racks

My Neighbours kid broke the tail light on my transporter the other day, waving to his mum riding to school. So I had to duck into Auto1 for a replacement globe.

While there I noticed they had replacement interior LED bulbs.

I've not been loving the lack of interior light in the Passat. So I grabbed some of these LEDs for the boot, side and vanity lights and the dome lights in the front.

Plug and play was nice, 6000k.

I'll take some more pics once it gets dark.

for comparison old on the left new on the right

Just got a picture message from my wife with these heartbreaking images

    Panoramic sunroof Leak

Anyone know what the process with dealing with this is. Our 3 month statutory warranty runs out on 22/3 so would like to sort it out asap.

Why O why do the problems keep coming? At least this isn't VW's issue

Get a call from my wife about what to do if someone hypothetically put the wrong fuel in a car......

She stopped at 8L of BP ultimate.... Unleaded.

At least she had the presence of mind not to just fill with diesel on top.
Got her towed to local garage and they are sussing out what to do now.

Car was not started but keys did go in to put in neutral & disengage park brake.
