Image editing programme free

The "Gimp" is a free programme for doing just aboout anything with graphics. It's easier to use than industry standards like Photoshop, and best of all it's free! Admin. would appreciate it very much if you could crop your graphics so that the garden, the dog, the next door neighbour's washing and any other grahics "clutter" doesn't appear. This decreases file size considerably and make the download much quicker. Also, if you decrease the actual size of your photo it will decrease the size of the file. All makes for faster download times and importantly doesn't push out the width of the window making users have to scroll sideways to view all of the image and the text. So please cut down the width to a size that will fit into the topic window.
