hey, i had the oil light come up on my car once, i posted on some other forums and was told it is quite normal and that i should be checking it frequently between services. I was worried because it was after a bit of spirited cornering, but its been fine for ages now :)

The car has been doing some regular highway drive since last serviced (~40KM each way)
Anyone know if this is related to the oil consumption?
I' just like to find out the cause, normal or abnormal
quite normal as in there are plenty of people with the same thing happening. From what i have read/experienced oil consumption changes depending on many variables including engine speed, temperature, weather, stop/start, oil type, break-in done correctly etc,etc..Quote:
