    2.0l TDI Wow

Well for the past 7 Days I have been driving a VW Golf 2.0TDI DSG. All I can say is DAMN. This car is nice. I would love to have a drive of a chipped, manual, sportsline version.

I must say that for the seat of my pants dyno says that its quicker then my Polo GTI even though the figures say that its 1 sec slower 0-100m. Im guessing this is because the TDI has a load more torque. And man does it fly through the rev range. What weight is the flywheel?? Its like a flaming motorbike.

This may be a funny question but has anyone taken the TDI down the quarter.

Is the TDI GT coming out here at all 125kw TDI would be fantastic.

This car has totally revolutionized the way I look at diseals.

Here's a worrying thought Shaneth. How does one get their Butt Dyno calibrated? No wait, don't answer that, I don't think I want to know.

The extra kws will make a heap of difference

Good to see you guys are giving the diesels a go!

This should go into the "What are you guys getting?" thread, but I got 5.1L/100km (~51mpg?) on my trip to Hobart and back (~350km) on Monday. This was cruising @110 most of the way with a bit of work around town.

The great thing about all of that torque in the right place is that it makes overtaking safe and swift.

    BTW 5.1 L/100km is approx = 55.3884189 miles/gallon(UK)

You would have to be happy with that!
