    Tracking your New Passat

I managed to get the VIN number of my new passat wagon from the dealer and have been able to watch on the internet as it travelled from germany to the uk, america, new zealand and finally to port kembla in Australia.

I know that the car has been off loaded in port kembla - does anyone know if you can track the location of your car once it is off the boat??

The wait for my new car is certainly testing my patience i just want it now!!

Cool. I'm waiting for my Passat too. Oddly, very similar specs to yours except our is white with a couple slight changes.

How do you track the shipment? I got an email from the dealer on Thrusday saying it just been loaded on the boat. I've been waiting since January!!

Try the following website -> http://www.2wglobal.com/www/wep/
Select the Track and Trace option from the Customer Centre menu and enter the Vin no. into the cargo id field. That should then bring up the ship and voyage details.

If you don't have any luck with this, I would suggest emailing Wallenius Wilhelmsen (see Contact us on the above website), provide them with the Vin no. and ask them which ship your car is on. I did and it seemed to work.

You now have to wait for Patricks to do their compliance work and get around to delivering your car to your dealer. VW don't pay for a "premium" service, so it could take weeks

Unless you have a friend in the right place in Patricks there is no way of tracking it once it is unloaded.

    HI natwsmith,

How did you track the order? I am 4 weeks into a 12-16 week wait and growing very impatient....

    Thanks in advance
