but now discontinued!
and you can't get it on Golf's anymore either. We had it in our 118tsi. they dropped it from all bar the GTI and R toward the end of the VI's and now the new model it is gone as an option completely.

I wanted to order the Dynaudio on our 2008 TDI, but the salesman talked us out of it (along with some other options we wanted).. Turned out he had a MY07 car he swapped it out for prior to delivery.
In hindsight, it explains why he was funny about me checking the plate prior to settlement - it was rainy that day and the car was near the back of the yard.. I had to wait a long time and then it wasn't in a position where I could open the door properly. Only discovered it a few months later. In the end (after getting our solicitor involved), we ended up with the car we paid for - along with Bluetooth and a couple other extras.
...and sales-people wonder why I don't trust them.
Anyway, it looks like I'll finally be getting a Dynaudio system (in my R36) =)
The following arrived this morning :-)

The amplifier ('J' model) is also a Lear. I will post details (part numbers, sizes etc) in a separate thread when I have some more time.
Looks great mate. Would be interested in hearing it. Let me know if you want some help. Depending on where you live, I could give you a hand with it. I love mucking around with that sort of stuff.
Nice garage mate! Curious to know how you rate the XR8 to the R36?

Well mate, to tell you the truth, the R is quicker to 100, but if you were sitting on 80 and then gave both the nellies, the v8 matters. More torque, plus the sound of mine is quite simply stunning, even though the R sounds awesome too. With regards to everything else, the R is superior, but it also cost more too, plus mine is 14 years old, and i love it, but it has to go to a new owner!
