DSG Issues
I scanned through past posts & couldn't see anything relevant. My car is now 14 months old, about 30k klms & I drive it in manual mode probably around 75% of the time. Progresively over a period of time I have noticed that my down changes (4th to 3rd, 3rd to 2nd etc) feels somewhat slack. At the moment I engage the lower gear the revs jump but it is as if the clutch is not engaged & results in the car feeling like it wants to lunge forward for half a second before the clutch grabs.
I also noticed on my up changes that at times the DSG just dumps into the next gear. I know the up changes are determined by pedal pressure (& possibly RPM) by it never used to do this with normal day to day driving. Shoud I be concerned or is this just the charactersitics of the DSG over time?
