Excited is an understatement... :rave:
As they stuffed me with the dates (more accurately VWA did) the dealer will hold it whilst i sell my wifes car, then extinguish the lease extension on my current car (wifes new car).
Weekend to be spent detailing the low mileage (22k km), wildfire red, six speed, 2008 Corolla Levin SX so I can photograph it ... :eek3hope2:
I am running into same difficulties with lack of dealer knowledge as to what is a " sports pack" for the B7. I have had a 2008 and 2010 black B6 Highline 125TDIs , and interested in sports pack for B7 replacement later this year. Finally through here I get to see what Vicenza wheels look like. Front seats appear the same as my current 2010 Highline - now have to pay extra for them ? Regardless they are worth it. VWA dealers cant agree - does anyone here know - sports suspension ? Yes or no ? . Sports exhaust ? Flat bottom steering wheel with paddles? Find lack of knowledge and conflicting info from VWA dealers frustrating....
Seats are deeper bolstered than standard, caneloni rolls are larger in the seats, rear seat is styled like the 5 seater option CC style... and deny the ability to option the kiddie seats, flappies appear on the standard wheel (nappa not perforated, nor flat bottomed, bummer)... I have the v6 and it keeps the standard ACC V6 suspension... standard exhaust... there are a few threads with this stuff in it... might look for ya from home...
SteveB, welcome.....
There is quite a bit written in our little Passat forum about the B7 Sport pack. Sadly the brochure for the MY11.5-12 B7 Passat shows a pic of the Sport pack front seats & dash of the Highline B6 Passat. Maybe why the pic has been removed from the MY12.5 brochure.
FSI has covered the B7 Sport pack option pretty well. Only changes to the standard Passat: Vicenza 18" wheels, sport susp (15mm lower), sport seats front & rear (deeper bolstering), rear windows darker tint (not UV), standard steering wheel with paddles added. The V6 keeps it standard ACC susp but from what I can tell this is already lower than the standard susp used on the 125TDi. The V6 also has standard electric seats & memory & a few other little bells & whistles the 125TDi does not have. The 125TDi does not get a sport exhaust upgrade but keeps it's standard system, the V6 keeps it's already upgraded duel system.
I'd reckon if the dealers are struggling to advise you on the correct specs of the Sports pack tell them you will go to another dealer that does know. It is a big cost option (moreso on the 125TDi) & they should know.
this is the other main discussion on the Sportspacket...

Yesterday I picked up my new white highline with sportspack, I love it, such a pleasure to drive.
How do I post a pic in this section?
looks like lots of Wagon are going for the White with sports pack look.
I haven't seen anyone with like mine Black with sports pack sedan?
Anyone??
Thank you.
Ideally I was going to change the wheels this week, so it rolls on black 19's or 20's, though the thought of getting rid of tyres worth $1600 alone didnt appeal to me, so I will wait until they wear out.
