I did but that doesn't answer my question. How can anyone think anything is due at a certain time unless there's something official?

The dealer I spoke to agreed that it would be "Due" about the middle of next year, this was the sales manager at a melbourne dealer. Like I have said previously, take from that what you will, if you want to be pedantic about everything then go ahead, I don't see the need.
To answer YOUR question, quite easily, it is my opinion,I think it is due then, it has also been agreed by the person noted above, and to use your words as stated many times on this forum, I don't care if you don't think it is due because there is no official release or details about it.

Dr Block,
My delivery date was June 2010, allowing the dealer 6 months. But I was semi aware that due to the GFC, production dates would be thrown out of whack.
I think we will be very fortunate if we receive our cars before September.
Yeah - the Cats suck at the best of times and now they're messing with VW delivery dates!
:P lol
My car is due at the dealers on 21st of June
I ordered last month so you should have yours before september
R34,
I ordered a Wagon.
Unless you ordered a sedan, I can not see our delivery times varying that much.
Dealers seem to always give a best case scenario on delivery dates.
My most recent dealer update (early March) is delivery in August 2010.
Another factor could be what Australian City you are in. But I suppose the variation on this shouldn't be more than 1 month.
I am in Melbourne.
I'm in Perth and yes I ordered a Sedan
Dermot sent me a Tracking order which gave the dates everything happens from painting, assembly, shipment and arrival at the dealership
Why would ordering a sedan change the delivery time?
Apparently the production dates/schedules in Germany are different for sedans and wagons.
Are you able to track your own 'tracking order' via a website? If so what is the website?
Hi Szikou,
I think you maybe correct...just received an email that my car has now moved back to ''sometime'' in June! This is getting ridiculous too say the least.
Had some movement on the loan car front, the dealer is now going to do the right thing and supply a loan vehicle, suggested the R36 Wagon they had on their used car lot...he didn't seem too keen on that,we'll see in the next few days I guess.
Once again, the reason for the delay is continued shortage of V6 engines
I have a CC on order and my business partner has a R36 Wagon on order. Same deal. We ordered in December to get Krudd's $7500 kick back and expected delivery in June. Got a call last week to say they will be later but could not tell me a time. If it blows out too far I will cancel my order and go for a Audi Q5.
