WTD: MK4 GTI intake or panel filter/ boost hoses

Before I go off and order more stuff has anybody got any boost pipes and intake or panel filter

    Let us know

    K04 not needed

I've ordered a new turbo from the US, so any other MK4 GTI performance stuff just give us a PM

If you have a K04 (for transverse 1.8T) in good working order I would like it as my standard turbo has way too many kms.
Prefer around Sydney (even Campbeltown) so I can inspect it.
Must be an original Borg Warner KO4 turbocharger.

If you have it on your car and want to de-mod it let me know as well.

Any performance stuff let me know via PM

Post any links for a new K04, so far I have looked at ECS $1234.27(US) delivered

    Thanks in advance

You want to replace an old turbo with another unknown turbo. I'd not do that, the chances for a subsequent failure are pretty high. IMO.

    Have you looked at Frankenturbos?

There's a couple on here fitted to MK4s.

Frankenturbos is dearer than the K04 from ECS $1,459.00 vs $1234.27 delivered
I wouldn't put a dud turbo without checking it.
Have you tuned a Frankenturbo equiped car
    Just came across this http://www.vwwatercooled.org.au/foru...fer-67879.html

i have a frankenturbo tuned with cuatom code and i can tell you its a big step up from a chipped k03. For $1200 u also get a high flow manifold and tip so its a pretty sweet deal. fitting a bigger turbo is only half the game, remember you have to fuel it too...

    Hey Lito
Thanks for your input, I bought a K03 sport only to replace the tired old unit on my car. Once fitted it will have a custom code. I understand the frankenturbo will create more power but my objective is to have a great streeter and the extra top end power is unwarranted.
I've been through the power craze with my XR6 turbo so this time I'm being sensible (can't believe I just said that).
