    Arteon Performance Mods / Tuning

Far out! That throttle response mod is the BEST! The lag/doughy responsiveness from the throttle is gone. The car feels like how my Golf R felt like after I got it reflashed with an aftermarket fuel map. The throttle response in the Arteon is now far FAR better. It actually feels more sporty rather than just this "glide you along" saloon.

Friend told me about this - remove the snow guard for better air intake (and a little more turbo noise).
    Looks easy enough.

I've just done this mod. Whole thing took about 15min. The longest part of the exercise is undoing, and redoing up all the screws holding the top of the airbox in.

You'll need a T25 tool to undo the screws. The snow guard literally just lifts out. Pull it from the very edges gently. Don't pull it from the plastic sections in the middle - they break very easily (I broke one). It doesn't matter though as I don't plan on ever putting it back in. Not unless it starts snowing in Brisbane. LOL

Has that made any noticeable difference?
