Question Is the R-line package worth it for an extra $4K ?

For the Tiguan Highline 162TSI with DAP, is it worth it to get the R-line package for an extra $4k ?

    Worth.

Only you can decide that. I wouldn’t buy a new Tiguan that doesn’t have the R-Line pack because I prefer the look. But some your preferences may differ, that’s why I say only you can decide. Perhaps if you were to provide some other factors than ‘worth’, it might be possible to provide some real feedback.

Get the Sportline and save $8k. But the R-line in white is the bizz.

If you have to ask, no.

When I was looking for a Tig it wasn't even a question, I wanted the R-Line looks. But if you are questioning it at all then you don't need it.

I'll just say this. The cost of retrofitting the R-line kit as spare parts will be about $10-12k.

So it makes a lot of sense to get it that way from the factory if you want the looks.

Only decided on the R-Line because of the extra 4K+ & the car like handling for an SUV having migrated from a Mk5 2.0 TDI on 18” rims. I now am a farmer as all farmers have SUV’s
I’m still amazed at the extras that the R-Line has as part of its package...it is a bargain!
    But that’s just my opinion...

When comparing against the stock Highline, I agree the Rline looks schmick! (especially the Stormtrooper White)
... just weighing up the extra $4k

Is the R-line package worth it for an extra K ?-tiguan-jpg

Does the Tiguan Highline with Rline maintain its resale value better compared with the stock Highline ?

Good answer. If you have to ask then no.

We were already going above our budget and stuck with the Highline. We found the base models without LED looked really poor but the Highline looks great. Sure I still appreciate the R line when I see it but I still love my car!
