Take the plate off and the bracket and peel off the matting and the sticky rubber underneath. Then just wash the area to get rid of any stickiness and put bracket and plate back on. Simple and like oks me ch better without it.Quote:

Laterarival.....this is my first time with VW. Most of the car manufacture try to simplify their manufacture processes while VG try to create more production lines for dissapointment. I m quite confusing to know that we customers are willling to pay for our enjoyment while VW kind of like refusing to take the money .......weird.....
Believe me, we're all paying VW anyway. But not getting the features. The consumer is ultimately paying for all this unnecessary complexity in the supply chain.Quote:

In principal, its about each country's VW office deciding on what is 'best' for their market. This makes a lot of sense, except for the part that they apparently don't really know their market.
Totally right. Apart from inflating their manufacturing costs, I suspect that, on the whole, this does no harm. The vast majority of the market would be blissfully ignorant of what they're missing out on. Safe to assume that those who frequent this forum are better informed than the typical buyer and so we're the only minority that gets a bit ticked off.Quote:
