    Light sensor sensitivity

Does anyone know how to change the light sensor’s sensitivity?

My headlight turns on at broad daylight (sun is out) when I drive in between buildings in the shadow. It also changes the navigation colours from day to night. A bit annoying.

I found the light settings in the menu (early, late) but it was set at late. Seems this setting is only for timing, i.e. when the headlight turns on when you pass through a tunnel or under a bridge.

so I've been reading user manual while waiting for my tiggy. hahaha.

The manual, which I found from this forum, on page 143 says button (1) on the wiper lever would adjust rain/light sensor sensitivity.

Light switch needs to be on AUTO and wiper lever on INT. Using the button 1 as in above pic will adjust the sensitivity of the light/rain sensor.

    Hope it helps

I too find the light way too sensitive (lights come on in good conditions). Because of the link to the dash illumination, you don't have the option to turn your lights off manually; like my wife's Polo, drive around with your lights On nearly all the time!

    Thanks guys!
So I assume, if I set it to the biggest rain drop, then the light will take longer to turn on (less sensitive), correct?
