Other than iOS compatibility and maybe faster processing in the unit, is it worth getting the V2?
At this stage I'm only thinking about modding some of the minor tweaks; stop/start, undertake on LHS, maybe traffic sign recognition and Traffic alerts.
Honestly a little bit expensive for just a couple of tweaks.Quote:

The stop start wont turn off with the app in mine either Tried yesterday and says not applicable.
Also headlight assist wont work either.
Not as good as I thought it would be or maybe VW had introduced software to stop certain things as works in some earlier vehicles apparently
Traffic alert works cant see the worth in LH passing as will only light up the warning in the mirror housing
Having taillights on with DRL is more sensible and blinkers on with boot open

And a couple you haven’t mentioned.
All work perfect. Have had to reenable a few of them each time it goes to vw for warranty work- as they reset the computer each time. Later on, I can write down my steps for you to try.
Perhaps you’re right and the process is different/blocked(I doubt it’s blocked tbh)
Edit- left hand passing should be an actual slowing of the car when on cruise control- annoying and dangerous, not just light in the mirror.
Stop start gives no sign of it working, until you are in a position where it wants to turn the car off- and it won’t. You just get the little status icon/message on the display. I believe it ups the voltage required to enable stop/start, to a voltage that isn’t attainable.
This is one I definitely want as I cruise u and down the freeway between Sydney and Central Coast and often have idiots doing 90-100 in the fast lane, while I sit on 110km/hr in the middle...:facepalm:Quote:

Vibration on Lane assist is in the MIB but only gives option of on or off. Not adjustable as app intimates.
Where possible it's advisable to use manual coding/adaptation as you can easily reverse what you've done.
The apps change potentially multiple things and you can't easily undo them
Some things like vim change things that aren't simple adaptation/coding so are the only way to activate.
