^ totally.. and yes, if you're happy to let them go (rather than whack them on at sale time) then you will easily recoup.

I imagine the search for that fitment was not an easy one!

I still rate the look 100%.

The only problem with Suzukas is that every second Tiguan (R-line) has them. And in VW Australia's wisdom they haven't changed the wheel spec in 4 years (unlike on other trim levels where they have changed up in MY changes). So they are probably the most common Tiguan wheel going around.

Personally I don't mind them as they are the "feature" wheel in all the ads, however they are reasonably heavy and the machined face is a target for gutters.

You've got me curious. What was the reason you didn't want to go wider to a 9.5?

I used tigger73's and other setups to decide on my front wheel outer limit and then work backwards. If you have a hard outer limit then a .5" inch increase will push 12.7mm or so inwards.

Has anyone been able to confirm the inner limits yet? i.e. how much clearance do we have to the strut? There's a fair few Tigs running Rotiform KPS 20x10 ET32/35 with no reported issues as of yet.

Ignoring outer poke, inner clearance is two things, clearing the strut, and avoiding tyre scrub on your wheel well at full lock.

KW v3's are popular on golfs and Tigs, here's a pic of a set I have on my brz:

The ones in the US that i've seen are certainly running coilovers, but there's one fella in Melbourne running MK7R springs and 20x10 ET35.
Perhaps the tyre scrub has just gone unnoticed on their part, since there's been no complaints...

yep, all speculation at this point.
only reason i'm curious is because i'm contemplating a 9.5 setup, so I have a vested interest in 9.5 being viable

If you have R-line you can probably go 32-33 offset or non-Rline you’d want to run something around 40-41 with a 9.5” rim.

That is if you want to keep the wheel inside the guard.

Yeah I think this will sit pretty right. Its 8mm more aggressive than what I’m running on a non-Rline and you’ve got slightly flared guards.
