Enabling Adaptive Lane Guidance (ALG) on 2017 Tiguan

So, Lane Assist - handy enough feature, but I don't like the bowling ball feeling of being flung side to side.

I've read a few posts on different forums about Early Lane Guidance and Traffic Jam Assist etc

But has anyone got lane assist working in a way that keeps the car in the centre of the lane?

Picked up my Tiguan on Friday and it has Adaptive Lane Guidance. Haven't as yet had the opportunity to do a lot of highway driving, but have noticed that it does gently keep you centred in the lane. Can't comment on what the difference is like with just Lane Assist active and Adaptive Lane Guidance inactive. I'll try this option and see if it does make a difference to the driving experience.

Hey Woodrow... where did you check to see that your ALG was active and available?

I wondered the same thing Chocolate, but week 21 build would have made it an MY18 which explains it.

From memory, the option if available would be the same menu as Lane Assist

Yes - it is the option immediately below Lane Assist
