    Discover pro screen internal crack?

Loaded android auto this morning and noticed two sharp lines on the screen.

Was fine last night and only appeared today.

Haven't had an accident and there is no visible sign of damage to the outside (thought maybe someone might have reversed into it).

Will be heading to the dealer tomorrow to see if it can be replaced under warranty.

Can see it in the photo running parallel to the blue line.Discover pro screen internal crack?-20180422_073817-jpg

Also, no external crack on the screen when you run your finger over it

Looks more like a bad connector to me, if it’s exactly one pixel wide.

agree with BenT - that is a screen issue, not a crack. That whole panel line is buggered. It happens on lcd screens - early x5 bmws are a good example - screen needs to be replaced. Warranty would likely be a full replacement unit because the soldering/desoldering is not within the skill level of the normal dealership
    Cheers

Yep, it's showing on every screen so is not specific to an app or function.

Took it to the dealer this morning who has said they will have to raise a report to VW before starting work.

Will keep the post updated as it progresses

Same issue with our Tig. That fine line through the screen appeared yesterday. Only appears when the screen is turned on.

Looks like a warranty replacement job to me.

Yup, ours has it too. We have three single pixel wide strips. Will wait till first service.

Sounds like it's becoming a common issue, have noticed some American forums are having the same issue.
