Thread: Discover pro screen internal crack?

    Definately a warranty job for something like that. As BenT said it's likely an internal connector/trace somewhere inside that isn't quite right for that one row of pixels. I've got an LCD TV from 2008 that has a very similar line, although mine seems to go away as it warms up.

    It might be possible to repair it, but I'd guess it would have to be sent away rather than done in the dealerships. If it's common enough maybe they refurb the screens and just swap in a whole reburbished unit quickly at the dealership.

    Ugh, really!? I called the dealer again today as they needed to "submit a report" was told it could take another week or two before they could start a repair..

    Did you already have it replaced? How long did it take the dealer from notifying them to having it repaired?

    Narr, spoke to the dealer last week, service manager said "no need to make an appointment, just come in".

    So after just going in this morning, mechanic said, it's better to make an appointment. So next week it is.

    Has anyone noticed the infotainment system heating up quite a bit during use? I know that it should warm up after some use, but it gets really hot.
