Brake Pedal too far forward - anyone else have this issue ?

My wife has the same issue. Compared to her Ford and our previous Toyota, the VW pedals do feel like they have a greater difference between them.
Probably the other point is that hey also feel more upright than our previous cars. So instead of your foot being at 45deg, they are closer to 80-90deg from flat

I used to drive at least 3 different vehicles a day all were different one even had indicators on other side to the others

You just had to get used to them or be out of a job.. Never thought anything of it.

Have owned 41 different vehicles so well past worrying about trivialities like height of pedals

Don’t get me wrong. It doesn’t worry me.
Just thought I’d share my Mrs has a similar issue with the pedal placement similar to the OP

Ha ha seems you are the only one who is worried .

Never even occured to me to think about it as it seems fine to me as I like to sit with the seat fairly high.

Doesnt seem strange or anything

Just use the tools you get and not worry or be more careful when doing the test drive.

If you read 4/5 of my posts, you’ll see I’ve fast become an anti vw advocate. It still doesn’t change my opinion regarding the brake pedal being normal enough.
