Hello, I'm Paul and new to this forum. I'm considering purchasing a white 2021 Tiguan R Line and was just wondering if i could get some honest opinions from Tiguan owners (2nd gen) and their reliability and any issues they have had with them.

Would you recommend one? This would be my family SUV which we would use for road trips/holidays as well as daily commute to work.

I'm coming from a 2008 VE Calais V 6 litre so this will be my first VW (I've always been a Holden man).

Do many of you do your own maintenance/servicing on on your Tiguans once out of warranty? How do you find it? I've mastered working on Holdens over the years but VW is new to me. I notice i would have to buy a electronic scan tool to reset service interval reminders and scan error codes?
