Do I need to do any coding after installing sport springs?

Do I need to do any coding after installing sport springs?

I'll be installing new Eibach springs in the next few days. My car is a 2016 rline with DCC and I think xenon lights.

I performed (using OBDEleven) a DCC recalibration on my Superb after installing Eibach springs.
It uses the same springs as the Passat B8.

It made a difference to mine, and matched the DCC shocks better to the new lowered springs.

This is not mandatory, but it is recommended.
Otherwise there is no coding required for springs.

In theory, if the car is lowered more than 30mm, then u will also need to recalibrate the A5 camera, ACC radar, and PDC sensors.
This needs to b done at a garage with specialist ADAS equipment.

U will also need to adjust the xenon aim/range.

    Thanks dArK5HaD0w

Do I need to adjust the xenon aim/range only if the car is lowered more than 30mm?

U'll still need to adjust the xenon aim, regardless.
If the drop is small, i.e. less than 30mm, u can make small very very tiny adjustments via the adjuster knobs above each headlight.
Make sure u adjust the vertical throw adjuster, not the horizontal throw.
There is a process for this.

If the drop is more drastic, then u need to put the headlights in learning mode using VCDS or OBDEleven, make the adjustments, then save the new position.

When I installed by Eibach springs the ride was a bit jiggy (can't think of a better word) in that I was feeling a disproportionate amount of bumps. The DCC recalibration helped but one thing I wasn't expecting to help but did was disconnecting the battery. I was doing some work on my audio, so I disconnected the batter for that. After reconnecting the battery and going for a drive I noticed the ride quality had improved. I wasn't expecting this change, so there was no expectation bias.

If anyone tries this I would be interested to hear what your experience is.

Finally did my DCC recalibration on my Passat. Kept getting an error with OBDEleven but it finally did it in the end after many attempts.

What are the part numbers for the Eibach springs? Wanted to get a set and I'm having conflicting info on the numbers. Thanks

Anyone know the actual deal with this, and which one is correct?
