    B8 tsi sedan suspension replacement

    Hi

    I wonder if someone can recommend suspension for b8 pasaat. Not looking for lowering car...just making ride more comfortable...

    A higher quality strut (or even new OEM struts considering your car is now approx 7 years old) will help. If you go aftermarket you cant really go past Bilstein. Sparesbox have a good range of Bilstein (and other) struts, worth a look.

    Note stock struts are Sachs brand and you will also see these on the Sparesbox site. Meyle are another OEM brand. KYB are aftermarket and Japanese - also good.

    Ah ok - I went searching for a 2014 model based off the info in your signature. Either way, im sure you will find some options for your 2017 model.

    I would expect that most aftermarket suspension would be firmer than stock. We have a 2018 Passat with R Line suspension (so lowered and maybe a bit firmer although I am not sure about the firmness) and we don't find it uncomfortable. Depends what changes you are hoping to make and what your definition of comfortable is. Tyres and also tyre pressures can also have a bearing on what we perceive as comfortable
