    Analog Clock Started Working

I have a 2016 Wolfsberg, purchased new in early 2017. The Analog clock in the center console, between air vents stopped working 2 years. The car battery died a few weeks ago, 5 years old. When replaced the clock was working again, any idea how this is possible.

Probably needs more volts than the old battery was putting out to start it. Be happy its was a cheap fix LOL

    That was my feeling.
VW wanted to charge me $600 to test it. Decided it was not worth that.

I doubt it had anything to do with battery. There would have been lots of volts once the alternator started charging. I would say a electronic glitch where a reset ( disconnect battery for a min) might have cured it.
