    Catalytic converter light

    Hi all

Normally I turn my stop start system off however today I forgot. At the lights the engine turned off however upon restart it had to be started up manually. After that the catalytic converter light came on.

Any ideas? Also, safe to drive?

Generally if the warning light is yellow/orange the car is safe to drive but needs to be diagnosed, if the warning light is red then do not drive.

Get the fault read (and keep a record/photo of what the fault was) and then clear it, and see if it comes back.

Computer scan showed an intermittent fault with the cooling / coolant pump.

supposedly comes on when Start Stop is activated to maintain engine temp.

Guys said not a major issue and potentially a once off so we'll watch and fix it next time if required
