    MK3 Vento VR6

    Hey guys.

Due to circumstances that have come up at this stage in my life, I have decided to sell the Vento.

I took delivery of this car back on the 1st of August this year. I had plans to properly restore it and bring it back to its former glory but it wasn't to be. I have however been busy with the car, fixing up and tidying things which were not up to scratch. It has all been documented in my build thread "HERE".

I've tried to tidy the car up as much as I could and do as much preventative fixes as I could and to be honest, it's a LOT better than when I first pick the car up, given its a 20 year old car. Ive recently given the car a major service overhaul with all fresh fluids, new radiator, new coolant and power steering tanks, oil and oil filter, rear wheel bearings, fixed rear window regulator just to name a few.

The buyer will receive an Excel spreadsheet, listing all the costs of the fixes/parts I have purchased and what i Have done to the car since August this year, along with a folder which includes all receipts from when I took delivery of the vehicle.

    Pros of the Vehicle :
    - VR6 Motor, with kms on the cluster matching the motor. Conversion performed by JMac. 5x100 PCD too for the wheels.
    - 6 month Rego left. "NVR628" number plates to be included with the sale
    - Starts first time, every time.
    - Pulls strong throughout the rev range.
    - Full suspension overhaul with refresh kit incl. brand new bushings etc installed along with brand new FK coilovers (less than 1000kms)
    - Major service recently completed (full fluid change incl. brake, clutch, oil, power steering, new OEM components installed, see "REPAIRS/FIXES" below)
    - Idles perfectly. No misfire. Coilpack and new leads installed upon delivery of vehicle back in August.
    - Fresh VR6 seats and brand new floormats with VR6 embroidery.
    - Early 4 slat grille and NA front lip. Hard to come by.
    - It's a MK3 Vento with a VR6. You don't see any of these around, let alone with a VR6 motor.

    Cons of the Vehicle :
    - Clearcoat on the roof is peeling, aside from that, paint is in fairly good nick for 20 year old (was planning for full respray)
    - Small dent on the passenger side quarter panel (was already on the car when I got it)
    - Interior headliner is sagging (was planning to get it retrimmed)
    - No central locking currently (Have the central locking pump, just not yet installed. Will be given with vehicle)
    - No stereo/speakers (Removed the broken OEM stuff. Was planning on installing new headunit and speakers)
    - Heatercore bypassed.

I've given it a lot of love and attention over these past few months to get it where it is now. Overall, it's an honest car and am wanting someone who will enjoy the car for what it is and appreciate the vehicle. It's by no means in concourse standard, but it will put a smile on your face every time you drive. The new buyer will be given a box of spares along with the Vento which include things like rear tail lamps, new rear licence plate tub, misc spare switches, regulators, etc. Stuff which I've hoarded.

    PRICE : $4,500.

GLWS, had a Subaru owner talk to me yesterday over lunch about how good VR6s are, so there's definitely love for them out there. Hopefully the new owner will be on here too.
