why does this come up when I have too many cars and no money?
Hi guys
I previously put this car up for sale when I got a work vehicle, but ended up keeping it as a weekend driver. I've now landed a new job Stateside and sadly the Bora must go!
This car was originally imported and used by VW Australia as one of 2 trial models before they launched the TDI motors locally. As it was not ADR compliant, VW then shipped it over to NZ where I purchased it at 20,000kms from a VW dealership. It ended up back on these shores when I brought it over as a personal import in 2010.
This is the top-spec TDI Bora which was never available Australian-delivered. Features include:
-1.9 TDI PD 150 (ARL) motor with MTM remap to 131kw/360Nm
-Partial black leather with alcantara trim
-Reflex metallic silver colour
-Power sunroof
-Heated seats and mirrors
-Climate control A/C
-Front and side airbags
-6 speed manual
-Full 35% window tint
-18" Oettinger RE rims with 225/45/18 Conti SportContact 3 tyres (near new) - factory Siata rims included
-H&R 50mm lowering springs
-132,000kms
Everything works great in this car and has been regularly serviced and fastidiously cleaned and maintained. I have every receipt for servicing and repairs done on the car since I bought it in 2008.
This car is incredibly fun to drive with an enormous wad of torque coming on tap from 1,800rpm. This is why I've owned it for so long! It's a very quick car and handles great with the H&R set-up. Gets excellent fuel economy too at around 6.0L/100kms around town. Rare opportunity to purchase a one of a kind car in Australia.
Asking $5,500 firm for a quick sale.
