1984 MK2 Golf GTI 2 Door in Black

Looking to sell my MK2. Need a change.

History:

Bought in 2009 in the UK where I drove it for about 300 miles before packing it up and shipping it back with my belongings to Australia when i migrated back.

Rare 2 Door with Sunroof.
1.8 Kjet
Non Power Steer/ non A/C
Recaro Front Seats
Split fold rear seat
16x7.5 et 25 Racing Dynamics
VDO gauges (not hooked up)
Runs well (when the Kjet wants to play ball.) Can get the Kjet overhauled, but not for the asking price!
Sunroof doesn't open (needs adjusting) Scrapes the inside of the sunroof cassette.
Headlining is in OK condition. Still up, but could do with a new cover (Can recover for the new owner at cost )
I have big bumpers to go with the small bumpers with lip. (currently on 16v lip and small bumpers)
Comes with original UK plates, and pressed steel plates, birth certificate.
De-spoilered hatch, but I have 2 spoilers to suit, one detextured in black and one textured.
Have a spare head, and dash clocks and a few odds and ends.


Guards have been rolled to better clear the wider rims/offset

Asking $9k as is. $11k with the K-Jet service. It's worth more than that due to the rarity of it (I have found a few other Mk2s that are older in the world, but none that are a GTI)

If it came from the UK why has got US spec front indicators?

I added them after. I like the Gti badge on the wing so the only other option would have bees us style indicators. Plus I think it looks better down there.
