Please recommend dent removal outfit in Adelaide

    Hi guys,

I washed my car this afternoon and noticed that someone has put a big nasty pin dent in the right front guard of my GTI, about 1cm above the top of the arch. Looks like there's some minor damage to the paint as well, so I suspect some touch up will be required in addition to dent repair.

Anyhow, can anyone please recommend a professional and careful dent removal outfit in Adelaide? Mobile is good but I'm happy to take the car to them if required; my main criteria is that the job is done well, and I don't mind spending a bit more to get the best result.

Many thanks for any recommendations you can provide!

(Mods: Apologies if this is a duplicate post; if so, feel free to merge with an existing thread. I didn't find anything recent when I searched.)

Well, I've been personally recommended this company, and have been told they do a great job:

Dents Away - Adelaide's finest dent repairs

Based solely on the cars they drive, they clearly know their stuff. I've booked in for Wednesday morning; both guys are coming to me to check out the patient. I'll update this thread with the results.

You could have tried the dry ice method which apparently works well with small-scale dents.
There are numerous videos on youtube and there is a thread on here.

Snap Adam, noticed one on mine when I was cleaning it yesterday, on the rear l/h guard behind the wheel. Can you please ask them if they can recommend someone in Sydney if you don't mind Adam? Preferably south west.
    Thanks mate.

Ah rats, sorry mate, only noticed your post now! If you're still in need of a recommendation, I'll shoot them an email and ask them for one on your behalf!

So, the guys (Mike and Luke) both came around this morning to check out my GTI. They were spot-on time, worked on the car carefully, and despite the difficulty of the job (dent on a crease line, significant risk of paint splitting etc), it came up fantastic. They also charged reasonably considering the time and effort that went into the fix. So, a big thumbs-up from me!

Oh, and as they both drive MkVI GTIs, they clearly also have great taste in cars.

I think I may have used the same guys. Are there MkVI GTIs black? Thought I'd try them out because of the cars-If it was them their work was OK but I have seen better before- seemed to take ages to do a relatively easy and small dent.
I did think it was a bit weird that they brought two cars, two guys for one small dent and that one guy stood around while the other did the work.
My wife found that a bit creepy and hoped I wasn't charged double. Might give someone else a go next time- any recommendations?

Sounds like the guys. Both came and fixed my car (and both did work); I didn't mind in the least that they were both there, and they took about 45 minutes fixing my dent. Personally, I'm happy for a repairer to take as long as they like (within reason) to do a good and careful job. I also think they charged okay given the quality of the repair. But each to their own!
