Sydney Evening Run

Well a night run hasnt happened for a while and i enjoy a late night drive as there isnt any traffic around and its quite nice.. the stars, the road.. the car.. me... sorry had a moment.

The options (well routes i like), long and short;

Blue Mountains; All the way through and down to Little Hartley or can go through to Oberon (jenolan caves turn off) and back around.. But thats approx 4 hours return which is a fair hit. or BM option B) head down towards megalong valley which is one of my fav drives up there.

Palm Beach; not so long, start city and drive on over. Can come via terry hills on return for something different i suppose

Natio Park; my favourite however few deers around but still never the less the best around especially now that its almost completely repaved so its not as bouncy or bad as it used to be before..

Maybe a Saturday night so ppl not so tired from friday @ work and leave say 8.30pm or so for 2-4 hours ..

Small groups always good as well.

Opinions ladies and gents?

You writing any guidelines for the meet?

I'd be in prob. wouldn't want to do the Park run at dusk/night though, haven't done Blue Mountains for a while (have the finished the roadworks yet?)

Hmm I like the natio and got a poor run yesterday. Havent done BM option A though, id be keen to try that for sure.

Can I fart just a little in my baby R32 ?? wouldn't want to abstain or overeproduce. That's just rude...

You must have headlights on at all times, must check all tail lights, indicator bulbs, park lamps, license plate holder bulbs, fog lights, high beams.

thats just the start.

after 8/9pm thru natio isnt so bad, pre 9pm isnt so great IMO as a lot of bundeena's etc are driving home etc.

BM is mostly done however at night isnt a drama thankfully!

RNP is fine at night, even at dusk. There is a few Deer around but I seldom see any. Drive it at night once a weekish on the way home from work (generally dusk or just after)

I had yesterday and would like to go on more cruises. i have yet to drive around BM and would be cheering if that could happen.

Ive been on the great ocean road and that was hell fun. too bad i was stuck behind a yaris with my mum in the car. couldn't go for a "spirited' drive
