    Cc mirror seizure

    Hi All,

One of the side mirrors on my 2012 vw cc V6 has a siezure every time I unfold the side mirrors after they have been folded in. It goes back to it's final position and then oscillates back and forth. See attached video of it oscillating once it's returned to final position. It will do this for about 20 seconds and then stop.

Any idea what's causing this and how to fix it?

Thanks, having a closer look, I actually suspect it is the motor drive mechanism as that mirror is a little bit loose once extended, I am assuming a tooth has broken off a gear or similar.

Does anyone know how to disassemble the mirror?
