Oil in pipe from turbo to throttle body

Hi i have a 2014 90 tsi 1.4 and had the Epc light come on today and had a look at my throttle body when i came home and found oil in pipe and oil near turbo side and some throttle side .What do you think i may need repaired and would this have this caused my high oil consumption ?

That small amount of oil is normal to be there.

Thats good to know i cant really complain i have over 270000 km and only had to put new front brake pads and discs and a battery needed replacing other than that its been just regular servicing . I add a litre of oil every fortnight and may up date to a golf 8 some time nxt year .

Oil in pipe from turbo to throttle body

Sounds like the most reliable VW Golf in modern history - hope it stays that way for you.

FYI this is my turbo at 50,000km when i was fitting a new intake. Its just oil getting though the PCV system. A good quality aftermarket oil catch can system will drastically reduce this happening.
