Okay so i'm officially over waiting for my New R...
I am following the ship its currently on and it just docked in South Africa. I don't think i will get another update until it hits Fremantle now late December, expecting to receive mid to late Jan. :(
I have watched every review i can find and read countless forum posts. I have been researching mods in the mean time to keep myself busy but find i am pretty fussy and therefore my list is quite small.
I'm looking at:
P3 Gauge
Garage door opener button
Custom Euro Plates
Can anyone recommend any other little neat interior upgrades.. I will look at upgrading interior lights if required but wont really know what i need until i get the car.
All I know is, its gonna be worth the wait! Anyone else currently waiting? Anyone have any good coping techniques?
You wont need to upgrade interior lights as they are already really good. The P3 gauge adds a nice touch (I have one in my 7R) and that's about all you'll need interior wise.Quote:

Hi all,
Finally after a long wait, I pick up my new baby tomorrow.
Back on 22/7/14, I placed an order for a Pure White Golf Highline Wagon with the R Line package, Panoramic roof and Driver Assist.... then the count down began.
Coming from a White Passat R36 wagon(now sold), I really wanted something similar. Not a massive power head so opted for a TDI option.
So I tracked the boat from Germany once I knew it had left with my car on board, yes crazy i know, and it gets worse.... Headed to Port Melbourne the day the it got to Melbourne to see the ships arrival and followed it all the way to the docks, unfortunately I had to go to work so missed the actual unloading, but still cool never the less.
Managed to get a photo from the Pre delivery yard.

Looks beautiful mate! Love the white! I love my GTI Performance in white. So jealous about the sunroof. Enjoy it! It's always worth the wait.
