    MY19 Golf details?

Noticed the Tiguan MY19 update details have just been released with some minor changes.

Wondering if anyone has heard if the MY19 Golf range has had any confirmed updates?

2019 GTI will have R motor and brakes, electromechanical LSD from the 40th Anniversary model and 7 speed DSG all standard. Sounds like a pretty good start..,

Agreed, you would assume the bump in kW would also bump the R up a bit but am expecting only minor changes.

There is speculation on the Web about an upcoming Golf having RS3 levels of power. I can’t imagine that being true but would be awesome if it was. The Haldex from the RS3 would be nice though

That's the Mk8, which will likely be MY2020. I doubt we'll see anything interesting for the last MY for the Mk7's

Looks like no colour changes, trendline in manual still, possibly there could be discontinuation of highline diesels. That's TBC, in showroom s from October

So, looks like we might be getting the same model as Europe - which has been detuned.

Might still mean a bump up for us though

I'm speculating/hoping that we might see a price drop to 'replace' the Grid for the last year of the Mk7
