    My new mk7 R

Picked up this thing a couple of weeks ago, already has a bunch of mods and IE stage 2 software. Definitely an adjustment coming from my mk1 TT but really enjoying how civilised it is. First thing was to remove the plastic up from the wheels. Plans are flex setup and a slightly larger turbo but I think I’ll enjoy it as is for a little while. Already got some new wheels sorted for it

I suspect the OP is referring to plastidip, but autocorrect kicked-in. The wheels look black/charcoal in the first pic, and then "au naturale" in the last pic.

Boost gauge and fuel content sensor installed, no more guessing the ethanol content. These engines look such a mess without the cover on!
Also removed the weather shields, I prefer the cleaner look and they produced quite a bit of wind noise at highway speeds
